                ফাগুন-দিনের আজ স্বপন তো ছুটবে,
                    উধাও মনের পাখা মেলবি আয়॥
        অস্তগিরির ওই শিখরচূড়ে 
            ঝড়ের মেঘের আজ ধ্বজা উড়ে। 
                কালবৈশাখীর হবে যে-নাচন, 
                    সাথে নাচুক তোর মরণবাঁচন, 
                        হাসি কাঁদন পায়ে ঠেলবি আয়॥
